Imagine being in your 70 and worrying about how you’ll afford your medication ! - Affordable Care Act rollback: Trump ha con i tently tried to di mantle the ACA, which ha provided coverage for o many who couldn’t get it otherwi e. Lo ing that afety net mean more unin ured folk and higher co t for everyone. - Drug price : De pite ome promi e , drug price have remained high. People are till truggling to afford their medication , and that’ ju t not right. In a country a wealthy a our , it feel like we hould be doing better for our citizen . What do you all think? The thing about the Affordable Care Act rollback is that it’s been a long process, and while Trump definitely tried to undermine it, a lot of the groundwork was laid before he even took office. I get where you're coming from, but it feels like the timeline gets a bit murky there.
my friend recently had to choose between paying for her meds or her rent. it’s heartbreaking to see people having to make those kinds of choices in a country that claims to care about its citizens. healthcare shouldn’t be a luxury, but that’s how it feels under trump’s policies. 😔
Remember when Trump proposed the "American Health Care Act" in March 2017? That plan aimed to repeal and replace the ACA but ended up failing in Congress after facing major backlash, including from Republicans. It just shows how out of touch he was with what people actually need when it comes to healthcare. The constant attempts to undermine existing coverage without a solid alternative really hurt so many Americans. 😕
