Trump's executive orders undermine democracy

It's honestly frustrating how Trump keeps using executive orders to bypass Congress and push through his agenda without any real debate or accountability, like seriously, this isn't a dictatorship, it's supposed to be a democracy and he acts like he can just run roughshod over the Constitution. The recent FISA reauthorisation issues show how he and his House Republicans are playing fast and loose with the rule of law, prioritising partisan politics over the rights and freedoms of the American people. Plus, the threat of a government shutdown over DHS funding just reveals how he uses fear tactics to manipulate the situation, which is not how a leader should operate. We need to prioritise democratic norms, not let Trump continue to erode the foundations of our system with his reckless behaviour and disregard for the Constitution.
