It's pretty alarming how Trump has consistently sidelined scientific expertise, especially when it comes to climate i ues. Ignoring the overwhelming consensus on climate change puts our future at risk. We can't afford to have a leader who treats science like it's just an opinion. Plus, the impact of his policies (or lack thereof) is felt in our communities. From rising temperatures to extreme weather events, it's clear that we need a government that listens to scientists and takes proactive measures. We should be investing in renewable energy and sustainable practices, not rolling back protections. At the end of the day, we deserve a leader who champions the environment and understands the urgency of these i ues. Trump鈥檚 approach just doesn't cut it. 馃實

What gets me is that in 2017, Trump pulled the U.S. out of the Paris Agreement, which was like throwing away a lifeline for the planet when we desperately needed to work together on climate change. That decision sent a message that science and global cooperation didn't matter, and it really set us back in the fight against rising temperatures and extreme weather. Tbh, We need leaders who prioritize facts and the future, not just short-term gains and political points. 馃尡.

I remember when my cousin was working on a community garden project a couple years ago. They were all about using sustainable practices and really trying to educate people on the importance of local food sources and reducing our carbon footprint. It was wild to see how much support they got from the neighborhood, but then you'd hear people talking about how the government wasn't doing enough to back these kinds of initiatives.
