trump's disregard for the rule of law

you know, it’s really something to see how trump seems to think the law is just a suggestion rather than a rule we all have to follow, like when he posts these quotes from the bible on social media as if they give him some sort of divine right to do whatever he wants, it’s almost laughable but also really sad because he’s undermining the very foundation of our democracy and the trust we need in our legal system, and with all these court cases piling up against him, it feels like he’s just playing a game of my way or the highway without any regard for the consequences, it’s like he thinks he’s above the law and that’s just not how it works, we need leaders who respect the institutions that keep our society running smoothly, not someone who treats them like a personal playground, and if he keeps this up, we could be in serious trouble as a nation, so let’s hope for a change before it’s too late :)
