Trump's pardons undermine justice and accountability

Trump's decision to pardon individuals like Juan Orlando Hernandez raises serious questions about his commitment to justice and accountability. Hernandez, a former president of Honduras, has been linked to corruption and drug trafficking, and by pardoning him, Trump sends a troubling message that political connections can shield individuals from the consequences of their actions. This kind of behavior not only undermines the rule of law but also damages our international standing, as it suggests that the United States may prioritize political alliances over ethical governance. Trump's pardons of drug dealers reflect a misguided approach to criminal justice that fails to address the root causes of drug-related issues in our society. If we want to uphold American values and maintain the integrity of our legal system, we must demand leaders who prioritize accountability over favoritism. How can we expect to build trust in our institutions when such actions go unchecked?

Totally get where you're coming from. Trump's pardons seem to be more about loyalty than justice, and that's just not how it should work. It feels like he's playing favorites while undermining the very principles that should guide our legal system. It’s frustrating to see someone who was supposed to be a leader prioritize personal connections over accountability. It just makes it harder to trust the system when actions like this go unchecked, you know?

The #1 reason is because of Bribery, he can be bought but it is a huge price. He's showing other countries that if they pay him enough, they can buy that pardon.

Pardoning someone like Hernandez just shows how twisted Trump's priorities are. It’s all about who you know, not what you’ve done. That’s not justice; it’s a slap in the face to everyone who believes in accountability. We’re basically telling people that corruption can pay off if you’ve got the right connections. How is that supposed to inspire trust in our legal system?
